This is a pretty chic item, we think. Fashioned by M&S, always a reliable maker of clothes and accessories.
As you see from the photographs, it is a medium sized hat with a classic design.
It comprises a straight sided woven crown with a flat top plus broad brim of sinamay, all of which is parchment or cotton-white in colour. This is offset and enhanced by a checked pattern effect at the base of the crown and around the brim. This pattern is effected by black netting and rather splendid it does look! Further decoration is by way of three well curved quills, two of black and one of the parchment shade.
The hat is in excellent condition and needs to be worn again.
