The item comprises a medium disc, angled and held in place by a self-coloured headband. This disc body is edged in the same fabric and shade. It has a feathery decoration above and below the disc and three well-curved quills that stretch upwards beyond the wearer’s head – thus giving an illusion of height. The whole fascinator is of one shade.
