It is a large hatinator, beige or softest taupe in shade, with a shallow crown and broad downwards sloping brim. There is fine metal headband attached by hand; it is not noticeable when the item is worn. At the base of the crown, as it meets the broad brim, is a self-coloured sinamay band trim.
The decoration is bold, comprising a super-large bow of self-coloured sinamay that flows wide and above the brim. The bow itself is embellished with a shimmer of gauze and diamante. The brim is bound with the same colour fabric.
