This is a classic style hat from Jacques Vert and as such one knows the quality of the item.
Rather conventional in first appearance perhaps, but look closely at the underlying pattern of the deep brim and see its charm! The design is reminiscent of paisley patterns which, in recent years, have come back into fashion.
The crown has a straight side and a self-coloured band of the same fabric. the brim bends downwards and is bound by a Petersham-type ribbon. One could refresh the whole item by adding some silk flowers.
