Description
This fascinator is in perfect condition, worn but for a few hours and now very much needing to be taken out again. It has no brand label but as photographs show it is well crafted and has a wide headband to offer security to the wearer.
The headpiece sits at an acute angle, giving the wearer elegance and height. It is fairly flat and wide, predominantly beige-cream with a small raised edge piped in the contrasting mushroom colour. By way of embellishment it has a slight crown, wrapped in a mushroom colour sinamay, added to which is a decoration of bows in both shades. A single well-shaped clipped feather lies next to the bows above. The decoration above the fascinator is echoed below.
The cream beige and mushroom edged sinamay will coordinate with many colours in the cream-beige-mocha-latte-light brown range. In spite of its large size, it is feminine in appearance. One might imagine it enhancing a dress of floating diaphanous fabric in a gentle breeze! How romantic is Rose in her descriptions! Ha!
A versatile fascinator to be enjoyed at weddings, garden parties, ladies’ race days or other celebratory events.
